Problem Solving

When you do not hear a dial tone through the telephone connected to the machine or when the telephone

does not ring (No aut omatic receive).

Checking the Telephone Line

1Unplug the Telephone Line Cable f rom the

telephone jack that was supplied by the

telephone company.

2Plug a different regular telephone into the

same telephone jack.

3Check for dial tone t hrough the handset. If

there is still no dial tone, report it to your local

telephone company.

Call from another telephone t o this number. If

the telephone does not ring, report it to your

local telephone company.
