Edit title on HDD

General

Title editing includes:

 

 

- change the name of a recording (title)

 

 

- delete a recording

 

 

- archive a recording

 

 

- lock (child lock) a recording

 

 

- protect recordings against automatic deletion

 

 

Please observe that Titles in the Time Shift Buffer marked for storage

 

 

on the HDD, can only be locked or deleted. To get full acess to such

 

 

titles, you have to erase the Time Shift Buffer. Read more information

 

 

about it in the section 'The Time Shift Buffer'.

Each recording stored on the HDD is displayed in the media browser

 

with an index picture.

Delete titles/recordings from the HDD

You can remove titles/recordings from the HDD to use the capacity from the HDD for new recordings.

1Press BROWSER HDD H on the remote control. P The Media Browser appears.

2Select the title/recording you want to delete using A I or

B O

3Press the red function button ('DELETE') D

P A note appears if you really want to delete this title.

If the red function button D has no function ('DELETE' appears grey) check if the title is protected. You will see this on the symbol 'F' on the screen.

Unprotect the title using the blue function button G .

4Select 'Yes' using D K and confirm with OK L . P The title is being deleted from the HDD.

O If the message window was closed, confirm the line with C M again.
