Using the high pass filter

When you do not want low sounds from the subwoofer output frequency range to play from the front or rear speakers, turn on the HPF (high pass filter). Only frequencies higher than those in the selected range are output from the front or rear speakers.

1Touch HPF on the audio function menu.

2Touch c to turn high pass filter on. High pass filter is turned on and the cut-off fre- quency setting becomes available.

# To turn high pass filter off, touch d.

3Touch c or d to select cut-off fre- quency.

Each time you touch cor d selects cut-off fre-

quencies in the following order: 50Hz—80Hz—125HzStaging for car environment

Adjusting source levels

SLA (source level adjustment) lets you adjust the volume level of each source to prevent ra- dical changes in volume when switching be- tween sources.

!Settings are based on the FM volume level, which remains unchanged.

1Compare the FM volume level with the level of the source you wish to adjust.

2Touch SLA on the audio function menu.

3Touch a or b to adjust the source vo- lume.

Each time you touch aor b it increases or de- creases the source volume.

+4 to –4 is displayed as the source volume is increased or decreased.
