!The sound quality of WMA files generally becomes better with an increased bit rate. This unit can play recordings with bit rates from 48 kbps to 192 kbps, but in order to be able to enjoy sound of a certain quality, we recommend using discs recorded with a higher bit rate.

!This unit does not play back WMA files re- corded as VBR (variable bit rate). Manual background

Manual background Notes

!This unit assigns folder numbers. The user cannot assign folder numbers.

!It is not possible to check folders that do not include compressed audio files. (These folders will be skipped without displaying the folder number.)

!Compressed audio files in up to 8 tiers of folders can be played back. However, there is a delay in the start of playback on discs with numerous tiers. For this reason we recom- mend creating discs with no more than 2 tiers.

!It is possible to play back up to 253 items from folders on one disc.Manual background
