Displaying text information on CD TEXT discs Notes

!When playing discs with compressed audio and audio data (CD-DA) such as CD-EXTRA and MIXED-MODE CDs, both types can be played only by switching mode between com- pressed audio and CD-DA by touching MEDIA or pressing BAND. This function can be operated only when the disc is playing.

!If you do not use the touch panel keys within

Stopping playback

%Touch g.

#When you stop CD playback by touching g, that location on the disc is memorized, enabling playback from that point when you play the disc again.

#To play back the disc again, touch f.the display

Pausing CD playback

Pause lets you temporarily stop disc playback.

%Touch f during playback.

PAUSE appears in the display. Play of the cur- rent track pauses.

#To resume playback at the same point that you turned pause on, touch fagain. Using CD TEXT functions

%Touch DISP.

Touch DISP repeatedly to switch between the following settings:

Disc Title (disc title)—Disc Artist (disc artist name)—Track Title (track title)—Track Artist (track artist name)

#If specific information has not been recorded

on a CD TEXT disc, NO XXXX will be displayed

 

(e.g., NO T.ARTIST NAME).

This unit can display the first 20 letters only of Disc Title, Disc Artist, Track Title and Track Artist. When the recorded information is longer than 20 letters, you can scroll the text to the left so that the rest of the title can be seen.
