Introduction of audioadjustments
1 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
mainmenu.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select AUDIO.
Turnto change the menu option. Press to se-
lect.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select the
audiofunction.
TurnMULTI-CONTROL to switch between the
audiofunctions in the following order.
FADER/BALANCE(balance adjustment)
PRESETEQUALIZER (equalizer recall)
EQSETTING 1 (equalizer adjustment)
EQSETTING 2 (equalizer fine adjustment)
LOUDNESS(loudness)SW SETTING 1 (sub-
wooferon/off setting)SW SETTING 2 (sub-

Using balance adjustment
Youcan change the fader/balance setting so
thatit can provide the ideal listening environ-
mentin all occupied seats.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
FADER/BALANCEin the audio function
menu.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
settingmode.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select the seg-
mentyou wish to set.
PressMULTI-CONTROL repeatedly to switch
betweenfader and balance.
4 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to adjust speaker
balance.
Front/rearspeaker balance can be adjusted
betweenFAD F15 and FAD R15.
Left/rightspeaker balance can be adjusted be-
tweenBAL L15 and BAL R15.
#Youcan also perform the same operations by
pushingMULTI-CONTROL up or down.
#FAD0 is the proper settingwhen only two
speakersare used.
#Whenthe rear output setting is
REARSP :SUB W,adjusting the front/rear speak-
erbalance is not effective. Refer to Setting the
rearoutput and subwoofer controller on page
26.
Using the equalizer
Theequalizer lets you adjust the equalization
tomatch the car s interior acoustic character-
isticsas desired.
