8Changing the Date on Your Mail

Advancing the Date

You can advance the mail submission date up to 30 days.

1.Press the Date/Ad key.

2.Press the number for Date.

3.Press the number for Advance Date.

4.Use the numeric keys to type in the number of days you want to advance the date.

NOTE: You cannot advance the mail submission date by more than 30 days. The system will display an error message if you try. Press CE/C to clear the message.

5.Press Enter. The system displays the advance date and returns to the Ready screen.

Resetting the Date and Time

1.Press the Date/Ad key.

2.Press the number for Date.

3.Press the number for Reset to Today's Date.

4.Press Enter. The system displays the current date and returns to the ready screen.

NOTE: Pressing the Normal Preset key resets the date to today's date. Selecting a custom preset does not affect the advance date. The system automatically returns to today's date when it wakes from the sleep (low energy) mode.
