Key Features and Benefits of the Polycom TPX HD System

The key features and benefits of the Polycom TPX HD system include:

Feature	Benefit

High definition	Polycom’s Ultimate HD high definition video on large-as-life
video	displays enables you to experience unprecedented video.
	Three displays are included for TPX HD 306M rooms.

Superior audio	With Polycom’s Ceiling Microphone Arrays, 22 kHz
quality	StereoSurround audio, and a professional grade sound
	system, the TPX HD solutions offer an extraordinary sensory
	experience.

Easy content	You can present content at a moment’s notice (whether you
sharing	are on or off a video call) by simply plugging a cable into your
	laptop. All participants can easily view the content on the
	tabletop content monitors.

Polycom Touch	The Polycom Touch Control integrates with the rest of the
Control and	Polycom product line creating a consistent user interface. The
updated user	Polycom Touch Control enables you to manage your
interface	conference by placing video and audio calls, hanging up calls,
	adjusting the volume, showing content, and selecting options.

Multipoint	Multipoint capability provides you with the flexibility of
capability	connecting to multiple telepresence rooms as well as
	traditional video conferencing systems at the same time.
	Multipoint calls can be initiated by the Video Network
	Operations Center (VNOC) or they can be user initiated using
	the Polycom Meeting Composer™ feature.

Multi-purpose	When not used for telepresence conferencing, participants can
room	be seated all around the TPX HD table. In this way, the room
	can also be used as a training room, conference room, or
	board room — maximizing its use for your organization.

Seamless video	Large format, seamless video display walls allow for viewing of
displays	continuous video.

Interoperability	The Polycom TPX HD solutions are interoperable with all
	standards-based video conferencing products including other
	telepresence solutions, such as the Polycom RPX 400 and
	200 Series, the Polycom OTX 300 system, the OTX 100
	system, and the Polycom Architected Telepresence
	Experience (ATX) system, as well as traditional (standalone)
	video conferencing equipment, such as Polycom HDX™
	solutions. TPX HD systems can now also interoperate with
	Cisco Telepresence Interoperability Protocol (TIP) endpoints.
	TIP is a proprietary protocol created by Cisco for deployment
	with Cisco TelePresence systems.
