Shooting Close-Ups (Macro Shooting)

The macro shooting function lets you take shots of subjects that are very close to the lens.

This is good for shooting small subjects because you can shoot up to approximately 1 cm (0.4 in.) away from the front of the lens.

1 Press the ADJ./OK button toward N (Macro).

• N is displayed momentarily at the center of the picture display and then N is displayed at the top of the screen.

2 Compose your picture and half-press the shutter release button.

3 Full-press the shutter release button.

To cancel macro mode, press the ADJ./OK button toward N again.
