3.2.2.2Disconnecting

!To disconnect, click:

-either on the connection icon in the Windows desktop (Internet ADSL icon),

-or on the connection icon in the taskbar.

Remark: In accordance with the configuration of your computer, the connection icon can be hidden into the status bar. To make it appear, click on the arrow as shown below:

Then, the following screen appears:

3.2.2.3Modem switching off or USB cable disconnecting

To disconnect or unplug a peripheral safely without stopping the PC, Windows XP recommends using the following procedure:

!Left-click once on the following icon, in the Windows Taskbar, at the bottom right of your desktop.
