3.6.3Configuring a new dial-up connection
The installation program created and configured a connection icon to the ADSL (My computer - Dial- Up Networking).
If you want to configure other connections or change any ATM settings, the procedure is the same as that already given for Windows ME (see 3.4.3).
3.6.4Uninstalling the modem
!Switch off the modem by unplugging the power supply cable either on modem side (connector marked PWR), or on the mains side.
!In the Windows 98SE Start menu, select Programs then SAGEM F@st 1000 and finally Uninstall F@st 1000.
Confirm the removal when Windows prompts you.
!Click OK; the following screen appears:
WARNING: you must switch off the modem before rebooting the PC
The modem is uninstalled.
