Concept of secure fax function

To allow the key operator the faxes that have been stored they will need to enter the menu system set-up and turn the function off, at this point the stored faxes will be printed.

A default password will be required, the password can be changed to suit the user’s needs. This menu option is protected by a numerical password of up to 4 numbers, a password must be present at all times to enable protection of the Secure Fax set-up. The Key Operator will have to enter the correct password before they can turn the function off, allowing the stored faxes to be printed.

When the fax memory is full any new faxes will be rejected.

If you forget the Secure Fax Receive password, contact a service representative.

Operatin Procedure

1.Preess ‘SETUP’ key

2.Press the ‘Scroll/Volume’ key until ‘SYSTEM SETUP’ is showed

3.Press ‘START

4.Press the ‘Scroll/Volume’ key until ‘SECURE FAX’ is showed

5.Press ‘START

6.Enter the password and press ‘START

Note: When you purchase the machine, the default setting

password is “0000”.

Situation 1

If you select ‘OFF’ then secure fax function is not operated.

Situation 2

If you select ‘ON’ then secure fax function is operated or you can modify the password.
