Advanced features

Activate advanced features and change the settings that control them. On the Settings screen, tap Advanced features.

Excessive shaking or an impact to the device may cause an unintended input for some features using sensors.

•Lock and mask apps: Set an app lock or hide it by using a pattern, PIN, password, or fingerprints. Notifications from the locked or hidden apps will not be displayed.

•This feature may not be available depending on the region or service provider.

•Only downloaded apps can be hidden.

•Caller ID and spam protection: Set the device to identify unsaved phone numbers when you receive incoming calls or messages. You can also set it to display your information on the other party’s device when you make a call or send a message, even if they do not have your phone number saved to their device.

•One-handed mode: Activate one-handed operation mode for your convenience when using the device with one hand.

•Quick launch Camera: Set the device to launch the camera by pressing the Home key twice quickly.

•Multi window: Select a Multi window launch method.

•Smart alert: Set the device to alert you if you have missed calls or new messages when you pick up the device.

This feature may not work if the screen is turned on or the device is not on a flat surface.

•Easy mute: Set the device to mute incoming calls or alarms by facing the device’s screen downwards.
