Setting point-to-multipoint
Point to multipoint is the default access mode of your Gi-
gaset 2060isdn. Use the procedure described here to
configure the point-to-multipoint mode and define opera-
tion as local or multicell (in other words mobile units con-
figured for use with one or more base stations).
When configured in this way your Gigaset 2060isdn is
compatible only with a point-to-multipoint access in-
stalled by your network provider. For more information on
multicell operation, page 81.

After confirming - and thus activating - “Point to MP., se-
lect:

If you select multicell operation:
Enable or disable calls from and to multiple base stations.
ŽThe comfort mobile unit is idle. You will be prompted to
enter the system code in the course of this procedure
(default code: “0000”).

It is not advisable to enable calls between inter-
nal users across multiple base stations unless
your Gigaset 2060isdn is connected to a private
branch exchange.
