You can use the system lock to prevent your base station being used for outgoing calls. Incoming calls can be an- swered.

Exception: Emergency phone numbers can be called even when the system lock is active. You can define and save a maximum of four emergency phone numbers, each consisting of up to 16 digits.

The options at your disposal are as follows:

Activate/deactivate lock

Check/change the emergency phone numbers.

You can select emergency phone numbers from the list and change them as applicable.

Add a new emergency phone number.

Delete individual emergency phone numbers.

Dialing is not possible if you have system lock with emergency phone numbers activated at the same time as telephone lock with direct sta- tion selection. Exception: the DSS number is also the emergency phone number.

Editing lock numbers/activating and deactivating call barring

Lock numbers enable you to bar entire sets of destina- tions - phone numbers beginning with these lock num- bers cannot be dialed. If, for example, you define “00” as a lock number, your system cannot be used to place inter- national calls. You can save a maximum of three lock num- bers (each consisting of between 1 and 8 digits) for each mobile unit.
