Menu structure for system settings
As a rule, you start from the idle state when you want to
change settings. There are some additional settings that
you can access in other states (see “Status-dependent
menus“ page 19).
You can proceed step by step to the setting of your
choice. Note that you can use the . key to move back-
wards through the menu levels (Main menu - Service -
System settings - Device data). This is a quick way of re-
turning from a particular menu through the hierarchy.
No matter where you are in the menu structure, if you
want to cancel without making changes all you have to do
is press the on-hook keya. Your comfort mobile unit will
cancel automatically if you wait for more than 30 seconds
without pressing a key.
Example:
If you want to activate call forwarding, you begin with the
telephone idle and press the . key, then proceed step
by step, selecting “Service” from the main menu, and
then ““Forwarding on” from the “Service” menu.
