CHARACTER SETS

The following tables show the standard and IBM character sets.

The decimal character codeof each character is shown in an inset to the lower right of the

character.

The hexadecimal code can be found by reading theentires at the top and left edges of the

table.For example,the character “A” isin column4 androw 1, soitshexadecimal character

code is41. This is equivalent (4 x16 +1=65) to decimal 65, the number in the inset.

Control codes recognized by this printer are indicated by abbreviations inside pointed

brackets <>.
