Long test mode, Ver | Star Micronics SJ-48 specification

Long test mode

If the printer is turned on while the I{ button impressed,theprinterwill enterthe long self-test mode. The printer will print the version number of the printer’s ROM, followed by the whole character set printed in each font and pitch available.

The test cycles endlessly, so you must turn the power off to stop it.
