REMOVING PAPER JAMS

When paper jams occur, the			indicator illuminates and the printer is set off-line. In
this case, remove the jammed paper according to the following procedure.
1.	Lift up the paper release lever.
2.	Remove the jammed paper carefully by pulling on the end of the paper.
	If the paper is wrapped around the platen, pull the end of the paper while holding down
	the I	~button.	.-

3.Open the paper cover, and confirm that any paper remained in the printer.

4.Press down the paper release lever.

5. Load anew sheet ofpaperand press the I ON ] button to set the printer on-line.
