Thefollowing section ontroubleshooting andmaintenance is intendedonly as abriefguide
tothese functions. Remember that your printer is ahighly sophisticated electronic device,
which also contains high voltage inside. For that reason, only carry out those operations
described in thischapter.
CAUTION: Anyattempt tocarry out operationsother thanthosedescribed heremay result
in electric shock and/or damage to the printer. When carrying out any repairs or mainte-
nance, always follow the instructionscarefully.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Your printer is areliable piece of precision machinery, which should not cause you any
trouble,provided it is used and treated sensibly. However, the few elementary tips below
shouldhelp you avoid having to make unnecessary service calls. The following table gives
you ideas on where to look in this section if you experience faults:
