1.At the ok prompt, type:

Note After you have installed the Remote System Control (RSC) software, you can also access the ok prompt using RSC from a remote server.

ok setenv boot-device device-specifier

where the device-specifieris one of the following:

cdrom – Selects the DVD/CD-ROM drive

disk – Selects the hard disk

tape – Selects the SCSI tape drive

net – Selects the Ethernet interface on the main logic board

full path name – Selects the Ethernet interface specified by the path name

If you want to select a network interface other than the system board Ethernet interface as the default boot device, you can determine the full path name of each interface, by typing:

ok show-devs

The show-devscommand lists all the installed system devices, including any PCI network interface(s). The output displays the full path name of each PCI device. An example of a PCI path name is shown below:

/pci@8,700000/ebus@5/serial@1,400000
