View XML files

Select the XML file to see a tree struc ture of all the configuration co mmands
XML files
The XML files tab gives a complete ove rview of the
status of the system and the commands ava ilable
on XML format.

Configuration

Configuration type comman ds defines the system
settings and are controlled fro m the Administrator
Settings menu or from the API. Config uration type
commands are either supplie d or read by the user.
Example: Set IP addresses, default pre sentation
source, standby delay, and enabling /disabling of
various features etc.
The configuration commands a re structured in
a hierarchy, making up a database of syste m
settings.

Status

Status type commands return s information about
the system and system processes an d are issued
from the API. Status type command s are read by
the user.
Example: Information generated by the sys tem
about ongoing calls, networ k status, conference
status etc.
All status information is structu red in a hierarchy,
making up a database constantl y being updated by
the system to reflect system and process c hanges.

Command

Command type commands ins tructs the system
to perform an action and are issu ed from the API.
Command type commands are s upplied by the
user.
Example: instructing the system to place a ca ll,
mute/unmute microphones, di sconnect a call, etc.
A Command type command is usu ally followed by
a set of parameters to specify how th e given action
is to be executed.
