5.1.6 - Mechanical adjustments

To adapt the viewfinder to the operator’s vision, make the following adjustments:
• Longitudinal position adjustment
Loosen knurled locking ring (1) on the viewfinder and move the viewfinder assembly. Tighten the ring.
• Transverse position adjustment
Loosen knurled ring (2) on the viewfinder and move the viewfinder assembly to the left or right. Tighten the knurled ring.

•Focusing adjustment
Rotate the focusing ring to move the eyepiece internal lens.
Procedure:
•With the camera, aim at a distant object. Focus on this object.
•While observing this object with the left eye which is disengaged, rotate the focusing ring so that the viewfinder image is clear.
