1.3 Whatis common interface?
Somebroadcasts are scrambled so that only paid
subscriberscan enjoy them. Scrambledservices
can only be viewed with a Conditional Access
Module(CAM) and a subscription card belong-
ingwith the scrambling system.
Common Interface (CI) is the slot on a digitial
receiverinto which a conditional access module
