Youcan also restrict uses of some menus. Selecting the Access
Controlmenu displays a list of menus that you can lock. Ifthe
Time Setting item is set to Locked,you have to enter the per-
sonalidentification number when accessing the Time Setting
menu. If you enter a wrong number,you cannot use the menu.
Torelease a shut item, set it to Unlocked.
3.5 Adjusting the on-screen display
Youcan adjust the transparency level of the on-screen display.
Selectthe System Setting menu and setthe OSD Transparency
optionas you desire. Itsavailable range is from 0 to 50 percent.
Youcan adjust the display time of the information box. For the
informationbox, see

5.2.3. Toadjust its display time, select
the System Setting menu and set the Info Box Display Time
optionas you desire. Itsavailable range is from 1 to 30 seconds.
Ifyou set this option to No Info Box, the information box will
notbe displayed when you switch services. However,pressing
the button will display the information box. If you set
thisoption to Never Hide, the information box will always be
displayed.
Inaddition, you can raise or lower the position of the informa-
tionbox. Selectthe System Setting menu and set the Info Box
Positionoption as you desire. Its available range is from

3lines. The more high you set the option, the more low
theinformation box will be positioned.
3.6 Toturn on the time shift feature
Timeshift means that the most recent hour of the television ser-
viceyou are watching gets saved temporarily on the hard disk
ofthe digital receiver. Whenthis feature is enabled, you can
reverseand pause live television as if playing back a recording.
Toenable this feature, select the System Setting menu and then
setthe Time Shiftingoption to Enable. See
