7.1.3 Timer recording
Youcan set a service to be recorded at a specific time. Even
if the digital receiver is in standby mode, it will switch into
operationmode and start recording at the specified time. When
therecording comes to the end, the digital receiver will switch
back into standby mode again in one minute. However, if
you press any button on the remote control or on the front
panel even just one time, the digital receiver will not switch
intostandby mode.
Toinput a timer recording, select
theSystem Setting
>
Timer Set-
tingmenu; then the timer list will
bedisplayed.
Toadd a new timer event, press
the button,and a box like the
leftfigure appears. Takethe fol-
lowingsteps:
1.
Setthe Record option to On to make a recording. If this
optionis set to Off, the digital receiver will turn on at the
specified time but not record;instead, you may record
withyour video cassette recorder or suchlike in this case.
2.
Ifyou want a radio programme, set the Type option to
Radio;otherwise, set it to TV.
3.
Setthe Satellite option to the satellite which transmits the
serviceyou want. Pressingthe
OK
buttonon this option
displaysa satellite list, from which you can select your
desiredsatellite. Setthe Tuner Select option to a tuner to
receiveyour desired service.
4.
Setthe Service option to the service which provides the
programmeyou want. Pressing the
OK
