Youshould set the Search Mode option to Auto at the first ser-
vicesearch after connecting the digital receiver. The digital re-
ceiver will searchall available services with automatic search
mode. Transponder numbers range from 6 to 12 at VHF and
28to 69 at UHF.
Tosearch a certain transponder, set the Search Mode option
toManual, and select your desired transponder at the Channel
option.
Youcan search pay services as well as free services. To search
only freeservices. set the FTA/Scrambledoption to FTA only.
FTAmeans free service. Tosearch only pay services, set it to
CASonly. CASmeanspay service. Tosearch both free services
andpay services, set it to FTA + CAS.
Tostart service search, select the Service Search command.
Thenappears a list box, in which found services will be listed.

Youcan reset all data of the digital receiver. To reset all the
data, select the Installation >Factory Setting menu. Then a
confirmationbox appears. Withthe Yes reply,service entries,
favoriteentries and timer events will be all deleted, and pref-
erenceoptions will be reset to the manufacturer ’s factory set-
tings.
