The engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor is lo cated on the bottom of the intake manifold, which is lo cated on the left side of the engine. It has a connector with green/white and gray/white wires (Fig. 52).

The universal electronic spark control is located in side the black center shroud in the upper left corner (Fig. 53).

The variable reluctance sensor (VRS) is located on the front right end of the engine block behind the fly wheel and front engine plate. It has a connector with green and white wires (Fig. 54).
