Change Engine Oil and Filter

Change oil and filter initially after the first 50 hours of op­ eration, thereafter change oil and filter every 100 hours.

1.Remove drain plug (Fig. 7) and let oil flow into drain pan. When oil stops, install drain plug.

2.Remove oil filter (Fig. 8). Apply a light coat of clean oil to the new filter seal before screwing it on. DO NOT OVER–TIGHTEN.

3.Add oil to crankcase. Capacity is 3.5 U.S. quarts

(3.3 liters) with filter. Refer to Check Engine Oil. 1
