3.1General
This chapter explains the diagnostic programs which tests and diagnoses the functions of the hardware components of this computer. The diagnostic programs can be classified into two types: OPTION and DIAGNOSTIC TES T.
NOTE 1: This Diagnostic supports dynabook AX, Satellite AW2, Equium A60, Satellite A60 and Satellite Pro A60/A65
NOTE 2: Before running a test, be sure to:
1.Check that all the cables are connected securely.
2.Exit the application that is currently running and close Windows.
The OPTION includes the following functions :

Before running the diagnostic programs, get the following tools prepared:
?A Service Diagnostic BOOT CD
?A Formatted FLOPPY DISK
?A Test Media CD
?A Test Media DVD
?An External Monitor (for DISPLAY test)
