4In the Rates dialog box, click and drag the slider along the scale to set the rate from zero (0) seconds (left end) to the maximum rate (right end). The rate appears in the box below as you slide the slider.

￿If you set the rate to zero, GL-DocMon will not update the screen.

￿The maximum rate is different for each item: event noti- fications, printer status, and print queue.

5Click OK to confirm the new rate and return to the Refresh Rates dialog box.

6To close the Rates dialog box without setting a new rate, click

Cancel.

This also returns you to the Refresh Rates dialog box.

7From the Refresh Rates dialog box, click OK to set the rate and exit the Configuration window.

8To use the default rates for all items, click Restore Defaults, then click OK to apply the default rates and exit the Configuration window.

FINDING THE PRINTER'S ADDRESS

1Click the Discovery tab.

The Discovery dialog box appears. The Discovery dialog box contains a list of all printers installed on your computer along with their address.

2To update one of the listed printers, just click the desired printer driver and then click Update.

3Click OK to accept the new setting and close the Configuration window.
