Document

The 5-digit code required to release a Private Print job for printing.

Identification Number

Enter the DIN from the copier’s control panel.

Refers to the TopAccessComposer application, which enables

interface.

Document Profile

A pre-defined set of driver settings that allows you to auto-

 

configure your print job with a click of the mouse.

Drawer

Driver

Duplex

The process of printing on both sides of a sheet of paper. For

 

duplex printing, the copier must have an Automatic Duplex Unit

 

(ADU) installed. See also Simplex.

Electronic Document

This system consists of the TOSHIBA e-STUDIO550/650/810

Processing System

digital copier connected to the GL-1020 controller. It provides the

 

convenience of walk-up copying, scanning, and network printing

 

from the same device.

Electronic mailbox

A feature of Private Print Mode, where a private print job can be

 

separated and sorted on a different tray.

Ethernet

A local area network (LAN) developed by Xerox, Digital and Intel

 

(IEEE 802.3). It is the most widely used LAN access method.

 

Token Ring is next. Ethernet is normally a shared media LAN. All

 

stations on the segment share the total bandwidth, which is one of

 

10 Mbps (Ethernet), 100 Mbps (Fast Ethernet) or 1000 Mbps

 

(Gigabit Ethernet).

Event

A significant occurrence such as the completion of a print

 

operation.

Finishing unit or

A copier accessory that provides Sort, Group, Staple and Hole

Finisher

Punch printing/copying options.

FPOT

First Page Out Time. The length of time the copier takes to
