4.Set temperature.

You can change the temperature setting any time after pressing the START button. To change the setting, see “Vari-Broil” later in this section. You do not have to press the START button again.

5. After preheating, put food in oven.

Press the VARI-BROIL TEMP button until “325°F/160°C” shows on the small display.

If you want food to broil slower from the start…

Press the BROIL button and press the To custom broil at a lower temperature: temp button so a temperature between 300°F/150°C and 525°F/275°C shows on the small display.

Lower temperature settings let the broil burner cycle and slow cooking down. The lower the temperature, the slower the cooking.

NOTE: Thicker cuts and unevenly shaped pieces of meat, fish, and poultry may cook better if you use lower broiling temperatures.
