The metronome icon will appear on the display while the data is being processed, then “Completed” will appear briefly when the job is done. 11: Get PhraseThe Get Phrase job is a c o n v e n i e n t w a y t o create new phrases by
copying a few appropriate meas- u r e s f r o m s o n g s . I n f a c t , i t ’ s s o m e t i m e s e a s i e r t o c r e a t e phrases in the SONG mode and then copy them to the PHRASE mode using the Get Phrase job, s i m p l y b e c a u s e t h e S O N G mode’s simultaneous monitoring c a p a b i l i t y c a n m a k e r e c o r d i n g easier.
Copies the data from the specified range of measures in the specified track of a specified song to the specified phrase.
The “Song” parameter selects the source song — i.e. the song from which the data is to be copied: “01” ... “10”.
The “TR” parameter selects the source track — i.e. the track from which the data is to be copied: “01” ... “16”.
The “M” parameters above the upper graphic bar are used to specify the first measure and last measure of the range to be copied.
The “Phrase” parameter specified the user phrase to which the data is to be copied: “001” ... “100”.
