■Spark plug

CAUTION

•Do not touch the spark plug with your bare hands immediately after operation, as there is the risk of burns due to high temperature.

•After every 25 hours of operation, detach the spark plug and remove dirt from the electrodes with a wire brush or similar.

•The correct electrode gap is 0.6~0.7mm.

•When replacing plugs, please use designated items.

IMPORTANT

•If too much fuel is absorbed or poor quality oil is used, the spark plug electrodes become dirty, making the engine harder to start.

■Adjusting the engine

Although the engine is adjusted on leaving the factory, after repeated use it may sometimes require readjustment or maintenance. Please consult your original supplier regarding inspections and maintenance other than those shown below.

•Idling speed

If the engine stalls or the pump continues to move when in idling position with the throttle lever completely lowered, readjust the engine speed using the idling adjustment screw on the left of the carburetor (Fig. 14).

•Turn the idling adjustment screw:

—counter-clockwise to reduce engine speed

—clockwise to increase engine speed

■Bougies

ATTENTION

•Ne pas toucher les bougies à mains nues immédiatement après l'utilisation du pulvérisateur, car il y a risque de brûlures dues à une température élevée.

•Au bout de 25 heures de fonctionnement, enlever les bougies et retirer la saleté des électrodes avec une brosse métallique ou une brosse similaire.

•L'espacement correct entre les électrodes est de 0,6~0,7 mm.

•Lors du remplacement des bougies, utiliser des bougies ayant les spécifications désignées.

IMPORTANT

•Si trop de carburant est absorbé, ou si une huile de mauvaise qualité est utilisée, les électrodes des bougies deviennent sales, rendant le démarrage du moteur plus difficile.

■Réglage du moteur

Bien que le moteur soit réglé au départ de l'usine, après une utilisation répétée, il peut parfois nécessiter un réajustement ou un entretien. Consulter votre fournisseur d'origine concernant les contrôles et l'entretien autres que ceux indiqués ci-dessous.

•Vitesse bas régime

Si le moteur cale ou si la pompe continue à se déplacer à bas régime, avec le levier de commande des gaz complètement abaissé, réajuster la vitesse du moteur à l'aide de la vis de réglage du ralenti située à gauche du carburateur (Fig. 14).
