LAN port 4 on the Prestige to a port on the external hub using a

 

straight through Ethernet cable (white tag) and press the Uplink

 

button. If you do not press the Uplink button (LAN port 4) or use

 

LAN ports 1 to 3 to daisy chain the Prestige to an external hub, then

 

you must use a crossover cable.

 

 

 

Verify that the IP address and the subnet mask are consistent

 

between the Prestige and the workstations.
