del motor puede sobrecalentar los artefactos conectados y puede causar un incendio. Nunca intentar “acelerar” el motor para obtener mayor rendimiento. Tanto el voltaje de salida como la frecuencia podrían alterarse, poniendo en peligro al usuario y a los artefactos conectados.

Para evitar que los artefactos conectados al generador se dañen al arrancar el generador, siempre DESENCHUFARLOS

antes de arrancar el generador.

ARRANQUE MANUAL DEL MOTOR

Nunca operar el generador en interiores - los gases del escape contienen monóxido de carbono, un gas inodoro y mortal.

1.Abra la válvula de cierre de combustible en el motor.

2.Mover el control de estrangulamiento (choke) ubicado en el motor a la posición de “CHOKE”. NOTA: Cuando el motor esté tibio no se necesita activar el choke.

Cerciorarse que la palanquita del “CHOKE” esté en la posición de “RUN” (Operación).

3.Si tuviese un interruptor “On/Off” (Prendido/Apagado) moverlo a la posición de “ON” (Prendido).

4. Agarrar el mango de la cuerda del arrancador y tirar despacio hasta sentir una resistencia. Soltar la cuerda para que regrese y se enrolle bien en el arrancador. Luego tirar rápido de la cuerda todo el largo se su brazo permita y después dejar que la cuerda regrese lentamente dentro del arrancador. Repetir si es necesario.

NOTA: SI EL NIVEL DE ACEITE DEL MOTOR ESTÁ MUY

BAJO, EL MOTOR NO ARRANCARÁ. VERIFICAR EL NIVEL DE ACEITE Y AGREGAR SI FUESE NECESARIO.

5.Después que el motor arranque, abrir gradualmente el acelerador de arranque (Choke). IMPORTANTE: Dejar que el generador funcione por unos 5 minutos sin carga cada vez que se arranque para que el motor y el generador se estabilicen.
