ENTREPOSAGE

Si la génératrice ne va pas être utilisée pendant 30 jours ou plus, utiliser les renseignements suivants comme guide pour la préparer pour l’entreposage.

Ne jamais entreposer la génératrice lorsqu’il y a du carburant dans le réservoir, à l’intérieur ou dans un endroit fermé sans

aération adéquate où les vapeurs risquent d’atteindre une flamme nue, une étincelle ou une veilleuse, par exemple sur un fourneau, une chaudière, une sécheuse ou un autre appareil ménager à gaz.

PRÉPARATION DU MOTEUR

1.Ajouter un agent de stabilisation de carburant au réservoir afin de minimiser la formation de dépôts de gomme de carburant lors de l’entreposage.

2.Faire tourner le moteur pendant au moins 10 minutes après avoir ajouté l’agent de stabilisation afin de lui permettre d’entrer dans le système d’alimentation.

3.Couper ensuite le moteur.

4.Débrancher le fil de la bougie d’allumage et retirer la bougie.

5.Ajouter une cuillère à thé d’huile dans l’orifice pour bougie d’allumage.

6.Placer un chiffon sur l’orifice pour bougie d’allumage et tirer sur la corde à recul à quelques reprises pour lubrifier la chambre de combustion.

7.Remettre la bougie d’allumage mais sans brancher le fil de la bougie.

REMARQUE : Si aucun agent de stabilisation n’est utilisé, vidanger toute l’essence du réservoir et du carburateur afin d’empêcher la formation de dépôts de gomme sur ces pièces, ce qui pourrait provoquer le mauvais fonctionnement du moteur.

GÉNÉRATRICE

•Nettoyer la génératrice tel qu’indiqué dans la section intitulée ‘Entretien'.

•S’assurer que les fentes d’aération et les ouvertures de la génératrice ne sont pas obstruées.
