MISE EN GARDE

ARRÊT DU MOTEUR

1.Débrancher toutes les charges électriques.

2. Placer l’interrupteur ‘ON/OFF’ en position ‘OFF’.

3.Fermer la soupape de coupure de carburant.

BRANCHEMENT DE CHARGES ÉLECTRIQUES

1.Pour réchauffer le moteur après le démarrage, le laisser tourner sans charge électrique pendant cinq minutes.

Brancher les charges de la façon suivante afin d’éviter d’endommager l’équipement :

2.Brancher les charges inductives en premier; les charges inductives comprennent les réfrigérateurs, congélateurs, pompes à eau, climatiseurs et les petits outils à main. Brancher en premier les articles nécessitant la plus grande puissance en watts. Voir la section intitulée “Calcul de la puissance en watts”.

3.Brancher ensuite les lumières.

4.Les appareils sensibles à la tension devraient être branchés à la génératrice en dernier lieu. Brancher les appareils sensibles à la tension, tels que les téléviseurs, magnétoscopes, micro-ondes, fours, ordinateurs et téléphones sans fil, dans un protecteur de surtension homologué UL et brancher ensuite le protecteur de surtension dans la génératrice.

Si l’équipement n’est pas branché de la manière décrite, l’équipement peut être endommagé et la garantie de la

génératrice sera annulée.

Suivre le tableau de calcul de la puissance en watts dans la section intitulée “Calcul de la puissance en watts” de ce guide. Toute surcharge de la génératrice provoque des fluctuations de puissance ce qui risque d’endommager l’équipement et les appareils ménagers.

Porter-Cable Corporation sera tenu responsable des dommages encourus sur l’équipement du client seulement s’il est déterminé que la génératrice est défectueuse. Ceci sera déterminé seulement par un représentant autorisé de Porter-Cable Corporation et cette décision sera finale. Avant qu’une décision de responsabilité légale ne soit prise, Porter-Cable Corporation se réserve le droit d’inspecter les connexions électriques sur les lieux d’utilisation du client et de tester la génératrice afin de déterminer si elle fonctionne de façon appropriée. Si le client ne conserve pas l’équipement ou les fils pour une inspection, toute demande de réclamation de garantie faite par le client sera annulée. Porter-Cable Corporation ne sera pas tenu responsable des dommages encourus sur l’équipement suite aux surtensions ou à une utilisation ou installation non appropriée de la génératrice.
