ALMACENAJE

Si se va a almacenar el generador por más de 30 días, usar la siguiente información como guía para prepararlo.

Nunca almacenar el generador con combustible en el tanque en interiores, en áreas cerradas, con poca ventilación o donde los

vapores del combustible puedan hacer contacto con llamas abiertas, chispas, llamas piloto en estufas, calderos de agua, secadores de ropa u otros artefactos a gas.

PREPARACIÓN DEL MOTOR

1.Agregar un estabilizador de combustible al tanque para minimizar la formación de depósitos pegajosos durante el almacenaje.

2.Hacer funcionar el motor por lo menos durante 5 minutos después de agregar el estabilizador de combustible para que entre a todo el sistema.

3.Luego apagar el motor.

4.Desconecte los cables de la bujía y extraiga la misma.

5.Echar una cucharadita de aceite en el orificio para la bujía.

6.Colocar un trapo sobre el orificio de la bujía y tirar de la cuerda del arrancador unas cuantas veces para lubricar la cámara de combustión.

7.Reponga las bujías y reconecte los cables de las mismas.

NOTA: Si no se usa estabilizador de combustible, se debe drenar todo el combustible del tanque y del carburador para evitar la formación de depósitos pegajosos en estas partes que puedan causar un mal funcionamiento del motor.

GENERADOR

1.Limpiar el generador como se indicó en la sección Mantenimiento de este manual.

2.Revisar que las ranuras para aire de enfriamiento y las aberturas del generador estén abiertas y sin obstrucciones.
