3.S’assurer que la génératrice est mise à la terre, conformément aux exigences locales.

4.Toutes les charges électriques DOIVENT être débranchées.

Le régime du moteur a été réglé à l’usine pour assurer un fonctionnement sans danger. Toute modification au régime du

moteur risque d’entraîner une surchauffe des appareils branchés et pourrait causer un incendie. Ne jamais tenter d’augmenter le régime du moteur afin d’obtenir un meilleur rendement. La tension de sortie et la fréquence seront mises hors des normes par une telle modification, ce qui pourrait être dangereux pour les appareils branchés et pour l’utilisateur.

Il FAUT absolument débrancher toute charge de la génératrice avant de la mettre en marche afin d’éviter d’endommager de

façon permanente les appareils branchés.

DÉMARRAGE DU MOTEUR

Ne jamais faire tourner le moteur à l’intérieur ou dans un endroit fermé sans aération adéquate. Les gaz d’échappement du

moteur contiennent du monoxyde de carbone, un gaz toxique, sans odeur.

1.Ouvrir la soupape de coupure de carburant du moteur.

2.Régler la commande d’étranglement située sur le moteur en position d’étranglement ‘CHOKE’.

REMARQUE : Aucun étranglement n’est nécessaire pour un moteur chaud. S’assurer que la commande d’étranglement est en position ‘RUN’ pour démarrer un moteur chaud.

3.Sur le panneau avant du moteur se situe un interrupteur de marche et d’arrêt

‘ON/OFF’. Régler cet interrupteur en position ‘ON’.

4.Saisissez la poignée du démarreur et tirer lentement la corde

jusqu’à ce qu’on sente une résistance. Laisser la corde retourner lentement. Tirer ensuite rapidement la corde sur toute la longueur du bras. Laisser la corde retourner lentement. Répéter au besoin.

5.Une fois le moteur en marche, déplacer graduellement la commande d’étranglement vers la position ‘RUN’.

IMPORTANT : Lors d’un démarrage initial, laisser la génératrice fonctionner sans charge pendant 5 minutes afin de permettre au moteur et à la génératrice de se stabiliser.
