P.No heat (GAS MODELS ONLY) ignitor sparks but there is no flame at burner

1.Direct Spark Ignition (DSI) ignitor probe out of adjustment.

a.Reposition ignitor assembly closer to the burner ribbon area. Also check to make sure ribbon burner is flush all around the top of the burner tube (ribbon should not stick up in any area).

b.Check gap between ignitor assembly and top of the burner. Gap must be set 1/8" +/- 1/32".

2.Failed ignitor flame-probe assembly or problem with wiring connections to the assembly.

3.NO gas (check shut off valves) or insufficient (low Water Column [W.C.] pressure)

4.Failed Direct Spark Ignition (DSI) module.

5.Failed gas valve.

Q.No heat (GAS MODELS ONLY) ignitor sparks, burner goes on and off right away

1.DSI flame sensor (probe) out of adjustment. . .reposition closer to the flame area.

2.Failed Direct Spark Ignition (DSI) flame sensor probe.

3.Sail switch is fluttering

a.Lint drawer or screen is dirty or clogged.

b.Restriction in exhaust duct work.

4.Insufficient makeup air.

5.Failed Direct Spark Ignition (DSI) module.

R.Dryer operates, but is taking to long to dry

1.Exhaust duct work run is too long or is undersized.

2.Low or inconsistent gas pressure.

3.Insufficient makeup air.

4.Poor air and gas mixture at burner, yellow or poor flame pattern. Adjust gas burner air adjustment shutters.

5.Lint drawer or screen not being cleaned out on a regular basis or often enough.

6.Extractors (washers) not performing properly.

7.Sail switch is fluttering, restriction in exhaust (GAS and ELECTRIC MODELS ONLY).

8.Failed Dual Microprocessor Control (DMC) computer temperature sensor, temperature calibration is inaccurate.

9.Failed Dual Microprocessor Control (DMC) computer, temperature calibration is inaccurate

10.Failed burner hi-limit.

11.Failed basket (tumbler) hi-limit thermostat.

12.Lint accumulation in location exhaust system.

S.Condensation on main door glass

1.Too long, undersized or improperly installed duct work.

2.Exhaust back draft damper is stuck closed or partially closed.
