Setting the date and time

When you turn your machine on, the display prompts you to enter the correct date and time.

To set the date and time:

1Use the numeric keypad to enter the two-digit month and day, and the four-digit year. For example, 01-23-2003.

2Enter the current time. The default clock setting is 12-hour.

3Press the asterisk (*) to select AM or PM, and then press Select.

Note: If the machine is unplugged for longer than 15 minutes, or turned off for longer than an hour, when the power is turned back on, the machine prompts you to reset the correct date and time.

Changing the display language

To change the language on the operator panel display:

1Press Menu.

2Press a scroll button ( or ) until MACHINE SETUP appears on the top line of the display, and then press Select.

3Press a scroll button until Language appears on the bottom line of the display, and then press Select.

The current language setting appears on the bottom line of the display.

4Press a scroll button until you see the language you want on the display, and then press Select.

5To return to the Ready prompt, press Stop/Clear.
