Clearing paper jams

The message PAPER JAM appears on the display if paper loaded in the output tray jams during processing. Use the following table to locate and clear the paper jam.

Note: To avoid tearing the paper, pull the paper out gently and slowly.

Paper feed area (PAPER JAM 0)

1Open and close the front cover. The jammed paper automatically exits the machine. If the paper does not exit, continue with step 2.

2Pull the paper tray open.
