3Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight out.

If there is any resistance when you pull the paper, or the paper is not seen in this area, continue with the instructions for clearing a jam in the fuser and toner cartridge areas on page 77.

4Insert the paper tray until it snaps into place.
