About This Guide

This User Guide provides information you need for setting up your machine. It also provides all the detailed instructions for using your machine as a printer, scanner, copier and facsimile and information for maintaining and troubleshooting the machine.

Throughout this User Guide some terms are used interchangeably:

Paper is synonymous with media.

Document is synonymous with original.

Page is synonymous with sheet.

Xerox PE 220 is synonymous with the machine.
