If the equipment is to be stored for more than three months before installation, it should be unpacked and connected to an AC input source to allow the batteries to be recharged. Refer to the installation instructions that follow, and the installation drawings.

2.3Storage
If the equipment is to be stored prior to installation, it should be stored in a cool, dry,
IMPORTANT | Batteries should be stored no longer than three (3) months at approximately 25°C | |
| (77° F) prior to recharging. Too high or too low a temperature will damage batteries. | |
| Exceeding the recommended ambient storage temperature will reduce | |
| and may adversely affect life. | |
