HDD maintenance is required in the following cases.

•When FULL indicator lights up

•When ERROR indicator lights up

•When an optional hard disk is added

•When you wish to format the HDD or to remove link

•When HDD reaches its life time (around 30 000 hours, displayed in the SYSTEM INFO window)

Caution: Addition, replacement, and other HDD main- tenance should be performed by qualified service personnel.

After power-on, the recorder confirms the HDD status and displays corresponding messages on the monitor.
