User’s Guide for Polycom HDX Systems and the Polycom Touch Control

Call Screen

When you are in a call, the call screen appears. From the call screen you can complete these tasks:

Touch the Volume slider to adjust the volume at your site.

Touch the Mute icon to mute or unmute your microphones.

Touch Hang up to end the call.

Touch Add call to add another call participant.

Touch Cameras to adjust the cameras or view presets.

Touch Keypad to send DTMF tones.

Touch Show Content to select, start, or stop content.

Touch Layout to change the video layout at your site.

Touch to get more information about the participants in the call or view call statistics.

Layout

If you navigate away from the call screen during a call, you can return to it at any time by touching the green Back to the Call button.

Ending a Call

To hang up from a call:

1From the call screen touch Hang Up.

2If prompted, confirm that you want to hang up.

In audio-only calls, if the person on an analog telephone hangs up first, you need to disconnect the Polycom HDX system from the call, just as you would hang up a telephone receiver in a regular phone call.
