8If you do not know the channel number of your TV station, you may also

enter the frequency. To do so, highlight the frequency bar by pressing the button Don your remote control. Using the buttons Band Ayou can change the channel frequency. The channel number will change according to the selected frequency (and vice versa).

Tips:

Changing the TV system of a TV channel:

Use the direction button Bor Ato select in menu point "TV sys- tem" the TV system that produces the least distortion of picture and sound. You can choose between “PAL-BG”,“PAL-I”,“PAL-DK”,“Secam-L”,“Secam-BG”and “Secam-DK”.

9When the manual channel search is completed, press “ENTER” to store the TV channel.

a To search for other TV channels, repeat from step 5. b To end, press the “SETUP” button.

Automatic TV channel search

During initial installation, all available TV channels are automatically searched for and stored. If the channel assignments of your cable or satel- lite TV provider change or if you are reinstalling the DVD recorder, e.g. after moving to another house, you can start this procedure again. This will replace the stored TV channels with the new ones.

1Turn on the TV and select the programme number for the DVD recorder, if required.

2Turn on the DVD recorder with the “POWER” button on the remote control or the “STANDBY/ON” button on the front panel of the DVD recorder.

Note:

First you have to select the input source “Tuner” by pressing the “SOURCE” button or the buttons Band Aon your remote control. Confirm with “ENTER”.

3 Press the “SETUP” button on the remote control. The setup menu appears.

4 Select the “General” setup page by pressing the direction buttons and press “ENTER” to enter this page.

5 Select “Automatic search” with the button Don your remote con- trol and confirm your selection by pressing “ENTER”.

6 The automatic TV channel search starts. The DVD recorder stores all available TV channels. This may take some minutes.

7 When the automatic TV channel search is completed, press the “SETUP” button to end.
